Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 ABC News Reporting That Nuclear Industry Will Change Stories.

Dutchsince reports on a 6.9 magnitude earthquake north of New Zealand.
Dutch also notes that a major news outlet, ABC, actually reported on the changing story from the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant officials regarding the release of radiative steam on Feb. 1, 2012.

Dutch says "Diane Sawyer = awesome! quote: “sometimes nuclear plants change the story AFTER an accident…”

The news story, "Nuclear Plant Leak in Southern California" also provides a map of US nuclear power plants, noting that 96 of them lie in heavily populated areas in earthquake zones, leading to a possible Fukushima scenario.

Reporter David Wright notes that the reactor is now closed. The newstory includes a statement by Gary Headricks, activist, who states, "If we don't make them shut it down, it going to be too late. We can't wait for the NRC, we can't wait for the government."

As always, we can contact our public servants in Washington D.C. regarding this issue.
